The Arts Council of Clatsop County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Northern Oregon Coast. Our mission is "to support, promote, and advocate for the arts and cultural enrichment in the county."

Boosting The Arts Community
With this initiative, our goal is to promote the myriad of artists and arts organizations operating in Clatsop County. We strive to illuminate the arts and culture thriving in our area.
Advocacy
Reinforcing our Commitment
While the arts certainly contribute to the heritage, vitality and social fabric of our coastal communities, they also contribute significantly to our economic health. Based on evidence-based findings, it’s safe to say this is an industry well-worth investing in. Our role as an organization is to support and advocate for those who comprise this powerful economic engine.
Events and Projects
Providing an Outlet for Celebrating the Arts
The Arts Council hosts a few keystone events and projects on a regular basis, including the Clatsop County Arts Summit, Make Music Day, and other fundraisers and workshops. We also participate in the Americans for the Arts' Arts & Economic Prosperity Study, conducted every few years.
